May 15th Forum on Accident Potential Zones
Join Coupeville Community Allies at the Nordic Lodge on Tuesday May 15th at 7PM for "The ABCs of APZs," a forum on the consequences of expansion at Outlying Field Coupeville (OLF).
If operations increase at OLF Coupeville to over 5,000 per any flight track--whether from the proposed expansion or from a shift to increased field carrier landing practices (FCLPs)--accident potential zones (APZs) would need to be created. APZs have significant effects on land use and land values and would decimate the economy of Central Whidbey.

Conceptual Accident Potential Zones per the Growler EIS
At CCA's forum, members Fran Einterz, Kelly Keilwitz and Lori Taylor will be giving short presentations on the following topics:
Status of the Environmental Impact Statement for Growler Expansion
How expansion would affect local land use by requiring Accident Potential Zones (APZs)
The effect APZs would have on your home, business, property values and local economy.
Deficiencies of Outlying Field (OLF) Coupeville
How you can take action to prevent expansion
Presentations will be followed by a short panel for questions and answers. We look forward to seeing you. Please share this event with friends, family, neighbors and your elected officials. We hope to see you there!
With much appreciation,
